A Note on Student Punctuality

If your family is anything like mine, the morning rush is real. It isn’t easy to get everyone out the door to school and work, having done all the things! As you know, the welcome bell rings at 8:35 am and learning begins at 8:40 am. When students arrive on time, they benefit from:

  • A calm start to their day, without feeling rushed
  • Taking part in classroom routines from the beginning
  • Social connection with their teacher and peers
  • Not missing essential learning

We thank you for continuing to prioritize getting our students here on time.

CASEL Competencies

CASEL stands for the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. This organization helps to integrate social and emotional learning throughout schools and the educational experience of teachers and students. As a school, we are focused on teaching the five CASEL competencies: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.
