Coffin Cares Assembly
Today we had another Coffin Cares Assembly. As a school community, we get together every second Friday to connect, learn together, and celebrate our students. This time is an important part of our well-being work and collective social-emotional learning. Today’s assembly recognized students who consistently demonstrate compassion at school, and the new learning topic was honesty. Classrooms will be taking up discussions around this subject in the coming weeks.
School Council Meeting Next Week
This coming Tuesday Nov. 18, there is a School Council Meeting. It would be great to have at least one parent from each classroom attend. The meeting is from 7:00-8:00 pm and is held both in-person at the school, and online. If you are interested, head over to the school on Tuesday night or join the meeting virtually here:

School Conferences
Families will have the opportunity to attend our School Conferences on November 27 and 28. We hope that you can come to school to discuss your child’s progress and celebrate their learning. Parents can book conference times through their MyCBE account starting on November 20 at Noon. See our Parent-Teacher Conference information for instructions.
