For our last week before the break, we have some fun activities planned as a school! Please see below for all the details.
Monday – PJ Day and bring your own mug for hot chocolate
Mrs. Kidd will read The Polar Express in the Learning Commons and School Council will be providing hot chocolate to the students afterwards!
Tuesday – Wear Your Ugly Sweater or Jersey Day
Caroling in the Learning Commons will take place with Mr. O’Reilly from 9:00-9:30 am.
Wednesday - Wear Your Festive Hat Day
Caroling in the Learning Commons will take place with Mr. O’Reilly from 9:00-9:30 am.
Thursday – Wear Your Coffin Green or Red Day
Friday - Anything But A Water Bottle Day
Caroling in the Learning Commons will take place with Mr. O’Reilly from 9:00-9:30 am.
Festive Evening
Our Festive Evening will take place on Thursday December 19 from 5:00 – 7:15pm. Due to tremendous growth in our school population, the format for the evening will be different than in past years.
The night will be split into two parts:
- Part One - 5:00-5:45 pm: Students and Families from Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 8
- Part Two - 6:15-7:15 pm: Students and Families from Rooms 4, 5, 6, and 7
Please note that each performance will be its own event. The gym will be cleared after Part One and tickets for Part Two will be taken for entry back into the school.
Each student has brought home two tickets for their grade’s performance.
There will be a dress rehearsal taking place at 1:15pm on December 19. Those unable to attend the evening performances are welcome to attend.
Message from School Council
Our next casino will take place Friday May 9 and Saturday May 10, 2025. This is our school’s principal fundraiser and will generate $60,000 - $75,000. These funds will be used to enhance our children’s educational resources and experiences.
We invite you to volunteer for a shift. No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided by a paid casino coordinator. The tasks are straightforward, and English proficiency is not required. Join us to meet other parents and enjoy a complimentary meal.
